Anakh Kaldryn

A Crisis of Self

Plot Hooks

Far from Home
When Anakh first came to Eorzea, she found refuge and employment in Tailfeather in the northern forests of Dravania. It never really was her home, but neither was the Steppe, nor anywhere else.

In the Shadow of Garlemald
From the accent, Anakh is likely a refugee from one of the imperial provinces.

Good-for-Nothing Globetrotter
Anakh has had passing experience with a wide variety of weapons, as a mercenary by trade. Officially, she's served in the Bozjan Conflict, and in the Ilsabard Contingent. Unofficially? She's been from Hingashi to Tural.

Echoes of the Lost
Anakh is plagued with dreams of places she's never been, faces she's never met, and a glittering city she yearns to go back to.

[Tainted]
Anakh's well of aetheris as deep as it is poisoned. Someone with the Echo or some form of Aethersense could easily tell that something is very wrong.

Character

Anakh is lackadaisical and irreverent and when she isn't stricken by spells of melancholy. She's beholden to nobody, having little faith in authority, and quick to blows when angered. This has been tempered with a world-weary gloom, and a deceptive sharpness can be seen under the hard-headed delinquent. She has a sleeping problem, a drinking problem, an attitude problem, and a drug problem. Earthly comforts soothe and distract from troubled thoughts.Despite the solitary lifestyle, she forms very strong bonds with those she cares about, and is fiercely loyal to them.Beneath all of this hard and cold exterior is a scared girl, afraid of being hurt again.
